About Cherished Steps Pet Cremation~
Cherished Steps Pet Cremation is owned and operated by a passionate animal lover with over 12 years of experience in pet afterlife care and 35 years in the pet industry. She has also volunteered for several rescues for over 25 years. Coming with compassion, empathy and knowledge, she exceeds all professional standards.

We offer a variety of memorialization options and are committed to helping you find the perfect, lasting tribute. Here are some we offer:
We have brand new, environmentally friendly equipment.
Cremation Options
Complimentary fur clippings. Ink and clay prints available at seperae cost. (Price of cremation is dertermined by weight of your pet). Ask about special pricing for tiny pets 3 pounds and under.
Private Cremation
$120-$350
Your cherished pet is in the cremation chamber placed in their own partitioned tray. You receive 100% of your pet's cremains back, guaranteed to be only theirs. ID tag included for a secure process and peace of mind for pet parents.
Communal Cremation
$40 - $200
Cherished pets are placed together in the cremation chamber and no cremains are returned to pet parent.. Cremains are graciously scattered on private property. (Price determined by weight of pet).
Individual Cremation
$400
Your cherished pet is the only one in the cremation chamber with no partitioning. You receive 100% of your pet's cremains back, guaranteed to be only theirs. ID tag included for a secure process and peace of mind for pet parents. (This option is ideal for giant breeds due to space.

Most of our urns come in 3 sizes as well as keepsake options. Inventory is subject to change.
Metal and Wooden Urns
$40 - $150
We have many options to choose from, or we can special order what you'd like.
Keepsake Urns / XSmall
$25 - $35
Keepsake Urns are for tiny pets or for sharing cremains. A great option for multiple family members. X-Small holds up to 3# of weight.
Necklace and Bracelet Urns
$40 - $42
These options are for those who want to keep their pets' cremains close to you always. *Never submerge cremation jewelry in water!

Shadow Boxes
$45/ $85
The owner loves to craft. Come see her Shadow Box in our lobby. Give us what you want in your Shadow Box (collar, tags, pics, etc) and leave the accoutrements and details up to us. Guaranteed one-of-a-kind memorial. Large or small options.
Stepping/Garden Stones
$25/ $15 / $5
Personalized concrete stepping stones come in large, small and ornament size. Hand made with a small amount your cherished pet's cremains sprinkled in with the mixture. Their name is sealed on top of the stone. This a beautiful option for a garden memorial.
*No obligation to have your cherished pet's cremains added, as this is a personal choice. We will gladly make the stones without sprinkling cremains in the mixture. Please allow one week for curing.
Clay and Ink Prints
$20 Clay / $5 Ink
Your pets paw and/or nose memorialized in clay or ink. Extra copies of ink prints are free of charge. Ask about our metallic glitter coating for clay prints. *Nose prints may not turn out as expected since noses are quite different to print than paws.

Name Plates
$10
3 colors. Black, Gold or Silver. All 1"x 3", sticky back, notched corners, pets name only with vinyl. We do not offer engraving.
Capital Trophy is located right inext door if you need engraving services for a more custom personalization. We have samples in our lobby for you to look at.
Cremains Transfer
$5
If you need any cremains transferred, we are here to help. This includes any kind of cremains. Bring your own urn item or purchase one of ours. Complimentary transfer if you purchase urn through us.
Fur and Whisker Clippings
Free of Charge
We will kindly and carefully clip some fur or whiskers for you at no charge.
Please note that Cherished Steps honors the integrity of your pets physical form and we guarantee a respectful process where your pets body remains intact and undisturbed.
Transportation/Logistics
Home Pick-up
Additional $20 pick up fee after 25 miles
We will carefully collect your cherished pet from your residence and transport them to our facility for heartfelt afterlife care. We charge a residential pick-up fee of $20 if you live 25 or more miles from our facility. You may pick-up your cherished pet's cremains at our facility or we can bring them home for an addiional $20 fee if you live over 25 miles from our facility.
Veterinary Pick-up
No fee for transport
We will respectfully collect your cherished pet from your veterinary clinic and transport them to our facility for heartfelt afterlife care. Pick up at our facility or from your veterinary clinic. No charge for transportation services. Veterinarians costs differ.
Cherished Steps Direct Care
Call or text for appointment time
We invite you to bring your cherished pet directly to us so we can discuss your final wishes for heartfelt afterlife care. We want to meet you and truly be present for you in your time of need. Our "Cherish Room" gives you and your family privacy and time to spend with your cherished pet.
Exhumation
Free Consultation
This is an extremely specialized service that depends on environmental and other factors such as seasonal consideration. This service requires an in-person consultation.

We love our clients, so feel free to visit during normal business hours. Be aware that we may have a family saying a final good-bye to their cherihed pet, so calling ahead to reserve a time is best. We do not offer euthanasia services. Only a licensed veterinarian can provide euthanasia.
